Unable to show folder content in Liferay Alfresco Portlet

Hi,
my Liferay Portlets can´t show the content for the Alfresco Base Folder.
Did I maybe forget some authorizations settings for the Portlet? or for Alfresco Folder? I guess, this is certainly a basic setting problem, but I couldn´t get it solved until now. Smiley Surprisedops:

I´m using Liferay 4.2 and Alfresco 2.0 with SSO and LDAP.

Does anybody know this problem?

Thx

I'd be interested in how you got Alfresco setup to run with LDAP, much less SSO. I take it you're running CAS? How did you get around the spew of CIFS related errors? (I'm running v2.1)

Thanks!

Hi!

I´ve been graced, not to do this dirty work. As I started to work in this project the server was already runing, so I have no Idea of what kind of problems the guys have had with the installation.

I´m sorry, I can´t help you…

Regards

Wagner

Hi,

Sorry for this being so late, but thanks!.

I've got rev 1241 running inside of Liferay 4.3.4 on JBoss, but I can't get any of the portlets except the Alfresco Client portlet to display any information currently. They all have 500 errors with Transaction required. Still looking into it.

This is a bug with the HEAD code - it's been fixed on an Enterprise branch and will be merged over shortly.

Thanks,

Kevin

Ha this issue been solved in current GA_2.9.0B release?
Just upgraded my 2.1 which showed the portlets but didn't show content.
Now i keep getting error 500's on the portlets.
The default-client portlet works fine (as it did before :0)

Just curious whether I need to look further or wait for a code-upgrade :0)
thnx in advance..

Hi,
I am facing the same problem deploying Alfresco 2.9B on Liferay 4.3.3

Anyway, I checked the link you supplied:
>Sounds like this issue: http://forums.alfresco.com/viewtopic.php?t=9870

and to me it does not sound like that issue.
Anyway I looked at the code in the war-file and it contains the patch suggested in that issue.

So as Keven mentioned before this is a known problem in HEAD that was fixed and should be merged to Community Edition. The question is: was it merged already or do we have to wait for a later build?

To me this is kind of critical as I have to upgrade from 2.1 because in 2.1 the portlets do not work with Internet Explorer.

one more try…
Any news on this issue since several people seem to be very interested in getting to know it as an alternative to searching for a, maybe, non-existing solution?
Thnx..
Peter
