Unable to reload the client config via the console

I've installed the Alfresco Community Edition 5.0.c. I've created a custom type and deployed it to the Data Dictionary/Models folder in Alfresco. I have also created created a web client custom config file and added it to Web Client Extensions.

However, I'm unable to reload the client config via the console in:  http://localhost:8080/alfresco/faces/jsp/admin/webclientconfig-console.jsp

I'm getting a HTTP Status 404 - /alfresco/faces/jsp/admin/webclientconfig-console.jsp error whenever i browse to the page. Help!!

Hello,

since Alfresco Community 5.0.b the Explorer UI no longer exists and as such there is no need for Web Client extensions anymore. The Web Client Config console has been removed along with the Explorer UI.

Thanks Axel,

I removed the file from the web client extension and restarted the server/service but I'm not able to view the addition properties for the Model. I dont even see a create content button/link.

I've activated the model. Am I missing a step? See sample file below:

Hello,

in which UI are you trying to locate a "Create Content" button? If it is Share you are talking about, then the typical way to work involves the "Specialize type" action in the Document Library. The availability of your type requires a customization in the share-config-custom.xml file. Please look at the documentation for the details.
