I couldn't put an ErrorEndEvent within designer. I could only put it into a Sub Process.

I couldn't put an ErrorBoundaryEvent  on CallActivity within designer. I could only put it into a Sub Process.

Could anyone help me to look into the 2 issues, pleae?
Thanks.

I am using the latest plugin 5.6 on Eclipse 3.6.1

Hi,

On which other elements do you want to put the ErrorEndEvent and ErrorBoundaryEvent other than on a sub process?

Best regards,

I fail to put an ErrorEndEvent at the end of one process.  Later, this process would be invoked by the Call Activiti of other process.

For ErrorBoundaryEvent, I want to put it on CallActivity.

If I write bpm20.xml manually, both of the above are supported by Activiti engine. But I couldn't do them in Designer.

Hi,

Okay, I haven't tried this functionality yet.
Did it work as you would expected? So did the call activity receive the error event and was it caught by ErrorBoundaryEvent on the call activity?
Then I can certainly add this support to the Designer.

Best regards,

Hi,

I 'm trying to add ErrorEndEvent within a process (say : My Process). One of the transition from a XOR gateway is the happy path. I want to model a logical error within the process. There could be potentially a higher level process that could call "My Process" using a Call Activity. So if i explicitly throw the error the parent process could perhaps catch the event and do further processing. This being the scenario, in the Process Designer i can't seem to drag down the ErrorEndEvent to the canvas.

My eclipse plugin is 5.6 and eclipse verion is 3.6.2

Thanks
Anup

Hi,

This is not supported in the current version.
But it shouldn't be too hard to add this functionality. Could you create a JIRA issue?

Thanks,
