Unable to login as a Tenant Administrator

Something has happened to our database which is preventing anyone in the Alfresco_Administrators group from logging in, including "admin@tenant".  Normal tenant users are still able to login however.

Is there a way like adding an admin user to the global.properties file to enable a normal Tenant user to gain administrator rights, or is there something we can run against the database that will correct this type of problem?

FYI, we are able to see the accounts in the database and the ones in question do have the UUID listed as part of the name, but even trying to login with that username fails for these users.

Thanks,

Jed

FYI, we are running v4.0d with the SOLR update patch (4.0e)

Try changing the Tenant Administrator password from Tenant console. You may find more help @ http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Multi-Tenancy#Managing_Tenants

Thanks, I tried that.  Unfortunately even that (changeAdminPassword <tenant domain> <tenant admin password>) throws an error that user@tenant doesn't exist.  In this case the username listed is one of the accounts in the alfresco_administrators group, which doesn't make sense since I am logged in to the main alfresco as "admin" so I can't understand why some other user account would prevent me from changing the Admin password for tenant..??
