Unable to delete sites in Share

Hi Everyone,

Working with 4.0b community. Share sites worked fine with drag and drop tested. Admin created a new, private site and tried to delete an older test site. Don't quite know what went on but now we get

1. Internal server error on login
2. Unable to retrieve site membership information….

and the log is full of errors to do with "No enum constant"

I am unable to delete any site and users cannot use them. Would love to just get back to the default site config but the DM side is already populated and don't know how to do that.

Hello,

the error "no enum constant" points to a problem with persistence regarding the visibility setting. It appears that somehow the an invalid String value has been saved in the database which Alfresco now cannot map back to a valid visibility value. We have had such an issue in one of our customers installations based on Alfresco 3.2 and as far as I know the cause of that was addressed in Alfresco 3.4.

In order to fix this you could use a DB client to update the entry for the visibility property in the alf_properties table for the site node, but this requires some knowledge on how to identifiy the correct entry to update via the database schema.
