UI guidelines for Alfresco

I'm evaluating Alfresco as a potential platform for our company's document management. One aspect when assessing the quality and usability of IT platforms is whether is has any UI guidelines in written form. I've searched a bit in the forums and on the wiki without hitting any. Does anybody know whether such exist, and where I can find them?

Change. I'd like to see a document describing guidelines for enhancing or developing new user interfaces, that can be referred to by developers, so that a consistent look-and-feel of the platform is guaranteed in the long term.
Alfresco looks pretty good to me, and I'd like it to stay that way even with added functionality in the future…
It doesn't have to be a very long document. And consistent look-and-feel could probably be ensured using other means as well (I'm open to suggestions).
