Hi,

When trying to add a channel manager for twitter today I got this error:

Unable to authorize channel. Please check you are using the correct URL:
You used the domain: https://alf.mydomain:8443
The expected domain is: http://alf:8080
Please reload the page using this link and reauthorize your new channel.

Assuming this must be a configuration file somewhere that I need to change?

Many thanks

Will

Hi David,

Thanks for that, that's stopped the error but it now won't open the popup to allow me to auth 😞  Think I may throw in the towel here as it seems the twitter dashlet doesn't work that well in community edition either?

Thanks all

Will

Even I am facing the same issue, I verified the alfresco-global.properties file in C:\Alfresco\tomcat\shared\classes.

share.context=share
share.host=127.0.0.1
share.port=8080
share.protocol=http

It looks as shown above and the URL i am using to access share is http://127.0.0.1:8080/share

Please let me know if anybody has a solution to this?
