transforming a document after metadata completion

Rules such as transformations, can be defined at 3 stages (inbound, update and outbound).  When we transform a document, say from Word to PDF at inbound time, the transformation occurs -as it should- when the file is uploaded. Is it possible to perform the transformation once the document metadata are filled in, so as to make them present with the PDF document?

Filling metadata is considered than an update, I believe, so if you choose Update, it should be worked.

Thank your for your answer: I hadn't thought of "on update" of the document and I will give it a try.  But "update" should create a new version as for me, and adding metadata is not meant to make the new version…
