transfer associations?

how can I transfer associations from one node to another in Java?

one way I can get associations from a node via nodeService.getChildAssocs.  This gives me a List<ChildAssociationRef>.  Is there a method to add these associations to another node?

You can't transfer associations…

(Well except for transfer service, but lets not go there in this thread.)

However you can Read Update and Delete assocs so you can have the equivalent.

you probably want to look at moveNode (for the primary assoc)
removeSecondaryChildAssociation,
and createAssociation.
