Tomcat context configuration

Hi all,
Normally when you drop alfresco.war to webapps, you will access it via http://server_address:8080/alfresco/

I want to access alfresco directly when access http://server_address:8080/
How should I configure Tomcat?

Tomcat has a folder called ROOT under webapps, this is the application that is used when there is no context path.

You can try copying all the files from a deployed webapps/alfresco directory to the ROOT folder and seeing if you have any luck.

Be warned however, you may find some issues as the application is written presuming that it will have a context path. If you do let us know what they are!
