The best practice of development and integration with other java source

Hello everybody
I would you like know what is a best practice to integrate my java sources and libraries into alfresco share.
My approach has been to follow this tutorial https://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_on_Eclipse#Eclipse
using:
- Windows 7
- jkd 1.7
- MySql
- Tomcat 7
I have already configure Solr as follow

I would you like to know if this is right way to integrate my libraries and source into Alfresco source via elipse and deploy all and if there is another component that i will could  configure
