when i use command
svn co svn://svn.alfresco.com/alfresco/HEAD/root
to check out the source code, it always fail after about 600M files had been downloaded.
the error message is something like this:
svn: can't open file “root/projects/web-client/source/web/scripts/ajax/dojo/src/i18n/currency/nls/.svn/tmp/text-base/JPY.js.svn-base”: operation not supported
my environment is ubuntu 8.04.
does anyone knows what's the matter?

… I use the command as follows:
svn co http://svn.alfresco.com/repos/alfresco-open-mirror/alfresco/HEAD (it works for windowsXP with silk-svn and Ubuntu 9.10)
… without the …/root at the end.
Good luck,
Ralf
