Is installing the binary and then deploying over the top with a compiled (matching) SVN checkout a valid way of developing the SVN code?
Is it merely a case of installing, configuring and running the binary and then running the ant deploy task from the IDE (e.g. eclipse)?
I assume TOMCAT_HOME has to be set to the binary install tomcat location i.e. c:\Alfresco\tomcat ?
Should (can) I create the binary installer from the SVN checkout instead of using the (matching) download?
