Support for message boundary event

Hello,
as I understand it, from version 5.10 Activiti engine support message boundary events. But I didnt see a support in Designer for this functionality.
As it is orthogonal to signal boundary events from designer point of view, I copied few files and made some modifications and it looks functioning (I dont have any experience with Designer development, but this was really easy). I want to contribute this code to community, what would be the best way?

Clone the designer in github, apply the patch locally and create a pull request.
