suggestion about Async continuations

we are interested in async continuation feature.

Could someone please give me some information about how to use it?
Which release this feature will be available in?

We are evaluating the workaround (add a timer event in your process with a ridicolous small time) suggested in:

Hi,

Yes async continuations support is already available in trunk.
For an example how to use it look at the unit tests in the org.activiti.engine.test.bpmn.async package of the activiti-engine module.
