Hi, They need to be put next to the corresponding properties files in share. You can have a look how it is done in the Swedish translation project, http://forge.alfresco.com/plugins/scmsvn/viewcvs.php/?root=swedish For now I create an amp that is installed into the share.war, for the upcoming 3.3 version it may be better to put them as an extension jar.
But your question may only be for how to install en existing language pack? If so, the maintainer should have an answer for how this is done for that language pack.
