Roel Dircks,
The Alfresco install has Tomcat as a webserver so you do not need apache.
You do need JAVA.
JAVA is used for running alfresco, not for the install.
The wiki page you referenced does not provide accurate steps for a linux install. Please refer to my wiki page http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Installing_Labs_3_on_Linux_with_command_line_interface
Please let me know if you have better success.
Be sure to try what BELMEKKI suggested:
chmod +x Alfresco-Labs-3b-Linux-x86-Install , then retry to it.
Dimic there is no dependency for php or imap in that install package, so the error is misleading.
Sorry I do not have a direct answer, just some guidance.

Update your java version ( JRE version ) to the latest one.It will solve your problem.
