Hi,

I have two different installations of Alfresco Labs3 stable, one on a Windows 2003 server using MySQL and the second on Ubuntu 8.10 server using the default Derby database.

On either installation, i go to the share portal and create a new site but when I go to the document library and try to upload a file I get an error that says: No files to display, click icon to select files to upload.

Does anybody know if I am missing something to my installation?

Thank you.

Which version of Flash do you have installed on the client?

I suspect you're using Firefox 3, which seem to have problems displaying Flash movies in a DIV overlay (i.e. the File Upload dialog). Try resizing the browser slightly whilst the dialog is visible to see if the Upload icon appears.

Thank you very much Mike, you were correct about Firefox not displaying the browser button on the window.  I tried Operan and IE7 and they both worked. In Firefox I resized the window as you suggested and that made the icon show up!

I also tested it on Seamonkey and I get: "Could not load html upload template".

Thank you again for your quick response, I am glad it is not a bug.
