Hello all does anyone has already managed to have search results highlight with solr and alfresco ?

Hello,

yes, as far as I know, several partners have managed to get result highlighting with either Alfresco SOLR or a custom SOLR setup, but theese solutions are typically commercial.
There is no simple configuration to enable search highlighting with the Alfresco SOLR server, i.e. it is not sufficient to simply enable the OOTB SOLR hightlighting features due to the structure of the index Alfresco builds up. Any approach at search highlighting with Alfresco SOLR requires developing add-on components for SOLR (in addition to the Repository / Share add-ons).
