Snapshot doesn't show up after Submit

I was in the middle of a "Submit All Selected" when I lost my VPN connection and now no Snapshots are showing up for my submit and I'm unable to re-submit the changed files that still show locked and are in my sandbox modified items list.  I tried unlocking the files and copying them to someone else's sandbox and submitting from there but no snapshot gets created there either and the files remain locked in that sandbox.

Is there a way to fix this?

How long have you waited for your first snapshot to complete?  

Did Alfresco or MySql crash?  Or was it just your connection to Alfresco?

As soon as I submitted this to the forum my user admits that they had set up a workflow for this particular web project and it was waiting for her 'approval', argh!  Sorry!  As soon as she approved it all was well.
