Hi,
I have installed Alfresco 4 on a laptop running Windows 7. I used the Windows installer option.
I have managed to get Outbound SMTP working using my GMail account and I now want to experiment with inbound emails (uploading files to a document library in Share by email) so I'd like to use a local SMTP server (127.0.0.1) for both inbound and outbound. Is this possible straight 'out of the box' with the install of Alfresco / Tomcat / Spring or do I have to install additional components?
Obviously this is only for while I'm trialing the product and I'll have a different production configuration.
I'd appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanks!

Thanks - can you elaborate please? Turn what on and how? I'm pretty sure you don't mean the laptop cos I'd worked that bit out already
