smb protocol problems

Hello,

after installing Alfresco 2.1 on CentOS 5 I get 2 Errors concerning smb protocol on alfresco.log.

06:43:07,832 ERROR [org.alfresco.smb.protocol] Failed to get local domain/workgroup name, using default of WORKGROUP
06:43:07,832 ERROR [org.alfresco.smb.protocol] (This may be due to firewall settings or incorrect <broadcast> setting)

I have alreade set the correct Broadcast setting in file-servers.xml (x.x.x.255) but the Error still appears. I don't know how to fix the second error "Failed to get local domain/workgroup name, using default of WORKGROUP" as well.

Can anyone help me?

hi,

i tried this solution: http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=14798 but somehow this had no effect.

does the port forwarding still work after a restart of the system? is the file-servers.xml the only config-file i have to alter in order to get smb working?  :shock:
