Hi,
I have a custom webform which takes a long time to load.
Granted there is alot of xml in this file (due to number of listed items).
Is there any way to speed this up (it takes upto 30 seconds sometimes to load).
ps.
I did try and paste the code but it is even too long for this.
Thanks,
Luke

performance of web forms for complex schemas is a known issue. improving performance is a high priority issue for the next release. i'll be looking at enabling webscripts for schema includes which should be faster than virtualized jsps, moving to a lighter weight javascript library than the one currently being used, and caching the generated xform where possible.

Luke:
If you haven't already, would be useful to add your XSD as an example we can test against for any future performance-related enhancements we do.
You can add a comment and post an attached XSD to the following JIRA issue:
http://issues.alfresco.com/browse/WCM-365
Thanks - and as Ariel said, we do look to address this in the near future.
