siteid, What does siteid means, how could I represent

  If I have few sites created with names "finance" , "hr", "personal", etc
What would be the siteid of these, will it be the same or does it have some mapping with some other fields

the site ID is the name of a site (the short name also used in the URL). There is no mapping involved.
