Hi,

a user (my wife Smiley Wink renamed a site via webdav.
now this site is not accessable via Share site.

i read through the board and know sites renaming is not possible.
unfortunatly i don't know the exact name of the site to get it back in share.

Where could i look in my mysql-database of 3.4d to find the correct name?

best regards
thomas

You can check through Alfresco explorer under sites space.
Based on the modified time of the sites space.
As there will be spaces for each sites must be visible under explorer.

Hi,

i see it also in webdav.
But does there exist a way to recover the site also in Share again?
Beside dump the documentlibrary via Webdav recreate and reimport.

But also the search for sites doesn't work anymore, which i assume is caused by this rename?

best regards
thomas

I really do not think renaming can cause this issues.
What happens if you again rename the space directly from explorer?
Why do you need to dump and re-import the documentLiberary? You should be able to rename it though Explorer or WebDav directly.

Hi,

i can rename the Site via Webdav, but i can't remember how the site was named exactly. It does not show up within the AlfrescoShare.

So i am thinking how to fix this problem. One of my thoughts was: download all files via webdav, delete the site and upload again, but i am unsure what happens the the site-information within the database.

Are there other possibilities?
