SimpleView - Metadata

Hello,

I have a custom metadata template with evaluator that works fine. However, my custom metadata template has "disabled" Simple View - setting simple view is showing same metadata template as detailed view. Is there a way to specify a SimpleView metadata template, have my custom metadata template only apply to Detailed View, ?

Is there a way in the specify/test view in the evaluator - so in my evaluator .doclib.action.isMyDoc, can I determine if i'm in Simple or Detailed?

Hello,

the metadata template as a whole always applies to all views, but you can define lines within a template that only affect a specific view. See <a href="http://docs.alfresco.com/4.2/concepts/doclib-web-tier.html">DocLib Web Tier customizations</a> for reference. You can set

view="detailed"‍

(or instead of detailed, other view types) to restrict a line to that particular view.
