Hi,

as all of you know Alfresco search by content but when it shows the results of the search by default it doesn't show coincidences inside the document as a results of the search.

I mean if look for "procedure" Alfresco finds 5 documents. But what I need is to know where is the word "procedure" inside each document.

Do you know if this is possible? Thank you!

Yes this is possible using the Full Text Search Query Syntax… see: http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Full_Text_Search_Query_Syntax

I re-read your original question and I can see that it could be interpreted as "can the search RESULTS page indicate the location of the full text search matches" or even "can the the search results preview the document showing the search results"… the answer to both of these would be that you'd need to customize the search results page as this is not available out-of-the-box.

Thank you ddraper,

I need to do the second option, I'll try to implement this function.

Kind regards!
