Show author in share

Hello all

I like the default 'view' for a document in share; but I would also like to display the author of the document along with the rest of the information, how can this be done? Is it possible? Is there some post /documentation that I can work off?

I will appreciate any pointers

You can use the new Metadata Template extension points in Share 4.0. See my blog post [1] for more details. There are some out-of-the-box examples in the share-documentlibrary-config.xml file.

Excellent reference; thank you very much. I am using the community version and had to end up adding a line to share-documentlibrary-config.xml to get things working.

When you are free, if you could please post a follow up to your post on customizing that will be greatly appreciated. I have had a very difficult time finding good documentation on customizing share.
