Share 'Site Finder' and My Sites Dashlet

I am working on getting Share up and running for a fairly large deployment, and have run into a bit of a problem.  We are running Alfresco community 3.0.0 stable on windows 2003/MySQL, installed with the complete installer package.  It was easy enough to set up and get hooked up to our LDAP directory, but there is a problem with the "sites" functionality

When I try to search for sites I get the following error message:

Wrapped Exception (with status template): Error during processing of the template 'Method public org.alfresco.repo.jscript.ScriptableHashMap org.alfresco.repo.site.script.Site.listMembers(java.lang.String,java.lang.String) threw an exception when invoked on org.alfresco.repo.site.script.Site@37879d'. Please contact your system administrator.‍

I checked the following thread, which explained another issue we were having with sites disappearing from the "my sites" dashlet, but I have been unable to resolve the search issue so far.  Any suggestions?

And to do it, the steps are only delete the group relative lines from ldap-synchronization-context.xml?

I have the same issue and have done the steps in this post and in the other one talking about this.

Hi,

I'm trying to reproduce the problem. (I set up group configuration with groups containing the @ characters and . characters)

I didn't remove anything from group import, I just imported an OU where 0 groups where created.

Hi,

Well, I removed the group info in the synchronization file and now it works
correctly.

BTW, I cleaned the database to "restart" the instalation and fine.

I must have been wrong on this wrapped exception.

After importing again today the groups containing "@" and "." for some, the search site function doesn't return any errors.
