Share search issue [Solved]

I found an issue with Share search that could be a major issue for the people I work with ( A show stopper if you will )

I have two sites one I am a member of and one that I am not a member of.
   I have the same document in both sites, when I do a search both copies of the document show allowing me to view documents in a site I don't belong to.

Is there a configuration change I need to make to fix this issue ?
I looked in the bug database I didn't see this issue raised but I also got pages of results and only reviewed the first four pages.

It depends upon whether your site is private.   You should not be able to see documents for a private site you are not a member of.
You can however clearly see documents in a public site even if you are not yet a member.

Please raise any issues in JIRA.

No need for a JIRA, just that I was unclear on the concept, what you stated makes perfect sense.
