Setting up the CIFS server

Hi

What i am currently trying to do is to remotely access the CIFS server from another WinXP host. When i do so, a window 'pops-up' but does not allow me to fill up the username  (only the password). Has this something to do with the way the CIFS server is configured ? In any case, does anyone know which configuration file(s) should i be looking at when setting up the authentication mechanism of the CIFS server ? [/img]

webDAV and CIFS are two different things.
