Setting up Alfresco/tomcat/MySQL on External hard drive

I am attempting to set Alfresco up to run from an external hard drive. How to I access Alfresco once I start it? Will the localhost:8080 still work?

You can install it and run it from a external hdd, or a flash drive.
Any yes, you will be able to access it from http://localhost:8080/alfresco or using your machine name: http://<machinename>:8080/alfresco
