Set candidate groups for process in the Modeler

Hello at all,

I saw that the new AngularJS Modeler now supports setting candidate users and candidate groups in the assignment section. That is great! The question is how to set the candidate groups for the whole process (like in the eclipse-plugin)? We need this since we use this construct in our application to regulate which group is allowed to start which process.

Another question: Is a data object support planned for the new modeler?
You did great work!

Thanks and best regards
Ben

Yes, that would need to be added to be fully conform. But it's not yet planned concretely.

Same answer, yes it will come, but currently not planned (currently engine work is prioritised).

Of course, you know the cliche answer …. always accepting a pull request 😉

The new modeler is an important argument for using Activiti instead of using Camunda or jBPM. In my opinion, those 2 features (support for data objects and support for setting candidate users and groups process wide) are the last missing features for productive environments.

Because this modeler is a unique feature in Activiti, is there a chance to priorize this?

They are the last for your company. Trust me, there are many, many others who have different priorities. And that's the game we play every day, juggling those priorities to keep everyone happy.

It will be added, cause we strive for 100% coverage for our tooling, but i can't give you a deadline at this moment yet.
