Hi,

I created a simple process with activiti signavio editor, then tried to import it into the designer and all send tasks seem to have gone missing. These are not supported in the designer currently ? I made sure to enable the activiti subset in the editor.

Thanks
Jorg

Hi,

Which send task are you referring to?
Activiti doesn't support other tasks than the service task for this.

In the activiti modeler in the palette there is a "Send Task" with an icon of a black envelope, that is the one i used. I replaced it in the designer with a mail task since that's essentially what i wanted to do.

Okay, but did you look at the Activiti User Guide for supported BPMN 2.0 constructs.
To my knowledge there is no send task there.

Indeed the send task as such is not listed here http://activiti.org/userguide/index.html#bpmn20, but to me that chapter looked more like an introduction to bpmn2.0 constructs rather than a 'these are the supported bpmn2.0 features in activiti' list.

Thanks!
Jorg

Note that the sendTask is working in the engine but it is not yet documented.
Basically it has two capabilities: do exactly the same as the mail task and do exactly the same as the webservice task. So there is no added fucntionality.
