Secure Share

Hi,

Im planning to set Share to be used from the Internet as well as the Intranet … Im really worried about security …

My idea is only to port forward Share port from the Internet and set firewall rules so only that specific port is rachable from the Internet. Allso change the default password for admin and maybe use https.

What im missing is "something" to block users after a few incorrent loging attempts or even a log file where i can check what users connect/do bad logings.

Allso im sure im missing lots of things that could make Share safer.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated 🙂

Hi,

For the login errors, I think they are already logged in by default.

Then extending the default login system to add extra security, is definitely possible.
We have a commercial solution about this:

I don't think that there is some free equivalent out there except for the "reset password" functionality that you can find here:
