Search on title and description attributes

I have insert a new document in Alfresco and set a title and a description.
If I try to make a search using one of the words in title or in description the document is not found.
Is it normal?
Is possibile to enable the search (quick search, not advanced) on all the attributes?

Yes, this is normal - by default  "simple search" it only searches the title and contents.   Check out this link - it tells you how to add extra properties.
