I'm planning to use Saved Queries in a project, but I need to understand more about how a Saved Query works in Alfresco.

So for instance I was wondering if there are API calls that allow an application to create a new Saved Query, run it, assign permissions to make a Saved Query private or shared with other users or groups… etc.
