Save only selected variables in the history

Hello everybody,

is it possible to intercept writing the history details to prevent the saving of some selected variables?
For instance variables containing sensible data like passwords or certificates?

The only way I see is to set the history level to anything less than "FULL" but we usually want to save the details in spite of some exceptions.

Hi,

No there's no standard way to do this. You could of course overwrite the Activiti listener that does the history logging.
