I am using alfresco3.3.5 EE along with OpenOffice. I am using jodconverter subsystem.
Since I am facing the performance related issues i am planning to move open office to different machine. So if I do this what will the
configuration changes to below properties

jodconverter.officeHome=/opt/openoffice.org3
jodconverter.portNumbers=2002, 2003, 2004

Thanks,
Patil

Hello,

you can not run OpenOffice on a different machine and still keep using the JODConverter. The converter needs to be able to start / stop OpenOffice processes which only works on the local system. Alfresco provides a sample remote OpenOffice configuration that can address an OpenOffice instance on a different machine, but that instance would need to be controlled differently (either as a background process on the remote machine or dynamically controlled instance).
