Hi,
I'm testing the 1.2 release and found rules (move content from one space to another) only be process via web client transfer. FTP transfer of content doesn't seems to trigger the rule defined. Is it a bug or it is designed in such way ?
Thanks & Regards
Blue

Hi,
The rules should work for FTP (and CIFS). I tested this recently and it worked ok here.
What rules are you using ?. Are you moving files or folders ?.
Cheers
Gary

I think I know what goes wrong.
Please see my other thread regarding Role and Rules.
In order to add content and run a rule to automatic move it from one space to the other space via FTP (and CIFS), the user must have a "coordinator" role in the source space and at less a "contributor" role in the destination space.
The question is why a "coordinator" rule is needed in source space, a "contributor" with create right should work.
