RM site missing

I just implemented the Alfresco solution to everyone in our organization. In less than 24hrs someone was able to get into the Alfresco panel and delete the rm site which has left the records management site useless. Is there a solution to fix this? No backup was taken because of the time span in which in happened.

What exactly did they delete? Have you tried the undelete function in the admin console (Alfresco Explorer client)

"Someone" must have been very powerful because even the RMA Administrator Role is not allowed to do this. Typically only the owner of the site or admin could do this. So any ideas how it happened?

Well there are a few of us who have the account details to the admin account. We're simply in testing phases so once structure has been determined it will be limited to one person.

Mike I've seen you recommend this solution a few times in this forum but I'm not exactly seeing the option in Alfresco Explorer.

Logon to the /alfresco web client as admin, then go into the User Profile and Settings page (2nd icon after the "Company Home, My Home, Guest Home, My Alfresco" bar.

Manage Delete Items is a link towards the bottom of that page.

Thanks,
Mike

You're my new favorite person. Thank you! Now it's time to implement user structure and restricted access.
