Return content for xinclude

I am looking to allow XML content to be retrieved for xinclude by remote clients. Has anyone achieved this yet?

I looked into the public api of content.get.desc.xml; but doesn't really point me in any general direction. No content.get.js file is available.

Preferably, I would like to utilize high quality code such as published with alfresco and not just hack something together. Im looking at providing xml retrieval via specified urls. e.g. organization/package/document/@id

Currently, the api requires specification of the node-id. Thats a little too much info for a remote client to retain. A long list of xml files mapped to node-ids…not very user friendly. Rather just query a specific organization/package/document/@id.

Thanks for your time and effort.

Hi,

try to look at webscripts. I think this is what you are looking for. Of course you should write your own webscript which would map your specific url to content to repository.

Thanks

Hi everybody!

Has anybody found how to invoke the Content Retrieval Web Script?

Thanks in advance,

Luis

ps: I think this code could be useful: http://share.alfresco.com/share/service/script/org/alfresco/components/content-viewer/content-viewer...

Hi again,

Finally we have been able to invoke the Retrieve Content Web Script in this way:

service/api/node/content/workspace/SpacesStore/uuid'>http://hostSmiley Tongueort/alfresco/service/api/node/conten...

uuid is the uuid of the content that you want to download.

Hope it helps,

Luis
