I am new not only to Alfresco, but content management in general, and I can't seem to find an answer to my question in the documentation. I am looking at managing content with the CMS (allowing the user to upload, versioning, etc.) and having it pushed to the file system, where a web server can pick it up.
Is this possible with Alfresco? If so, is it a good idea? Is this something that CMS's in general support?
