Repository Operations: Connecting, Registering Nodetypes

Hello to All,

I've used the jsr170 implementation of eXo, wrote a standalone application, but i want to test it with other jsr170 implementations:

Can you precise how to use alfresco repository (create and connect) and to register new nodetypes?

In exo, for registering new nodetypes, I used their plugin which means; I've defined my nodetypes in an xml file and their plugin registered them to the repository which is created, do you have something similar? Do you have tutorial pages corresponding to my questions?
