Hello all,

Does any of you know if Alfresco is used in a production environment for as an employee file management system in a Human Resource department?

If so, do you have information about company size (number of employees, industry type etc)?

Any information or references would be highly appreciated!

Thnx in advance,

Well cant say that as I am also looking for some justified answers in regard to setting up the payroll for my employees. I was thinking of taking some guidance from this place but so far have not got any desired results. Therefore I feel that it would be best for me to continue with the services of the third party till enough knowledge is attained.

Hi,

Alfresco is a Content Management Software package which could manage the documentation for the largest companies in the world.  The software or the service is to provide software support and not specific company setups and configurations.  I'm sure they could assist you, but I think your post would be much for productive if you including some examples of what you would like to do, and how you would like to do it, for which people could then submit suggestion on how Alfresco could suit your needs.

As an example in Chapter 13 it shows an example of a bank that processes 20000 invoices per hour.  You can implement various solutions by leveraging the Alfresco's content management and business process management features. Some examples include for example: order fulfillment, claims processing, underwriting, loan origination, contracts management, accounts payable managing checks and invoices.
