Records Hold Query

Hi,

Consider this scenario:

A record is scheduled for deletion 1 year from now. Suppose I put the record on hold for 2 months. In that case will the record be deleted after 1 year from its original date or will it be deleted after 1 year plus 2 months.

Kindly advise.

Destroy action should be available after a year only, Not after 1 year 2 month. As once disposition schedule has been set to destroy record after a year then in back-end it set this property -  rma:recordSearchDispositionActionAsOf and if you add record on hold this propery wont get changed.

And hold which helps to freeze record so after a year also you can NOT dispose record if its still on hold. Though just try it may be by setting destroy immediately or by changing your system date!
