recommended size for a WQS site

I would be grateful if you could provide feedback on the following issue:

What is the recommended maximum number of pages for an Alfresco WebQuickStart site?

We are considering two options: either build one big site or several smaller sites.

I can't think of anything that would limit the size of a WQS website.
