I have been looking through the forums and haven't seen any references to recommended file system types to use for the content store. We are deploying onto a SLES10 platform and plan to put our conent store on SAN attached storage. I am trying to decide what file system type would be best for our scenario which would be a large number of fairly small documents (eventually over 1 million with most of them being less than 1 mb in size). The options that I have available to me are XFS, REISER and Ext3.
I would appreciate it if anyone could provide their experiences with using any of these file systems.
