I have this exception prompted when creating a category - "Unknown Exception in Transaction"

I copied and paste onto the following attributes:
name: ABC
description: ABC

I notice that name attribute cannot accept empty spaces eg. ABC{space} thus causing this exception

I am using Alfresco 2.1
