Question about email storage in alfresco

I've been looking into the possibility of storing emails in alfresco 3 labs. After setting up the 'inbound mail' feature, I was able to send mails from my outlook client to alfresco.
The first thing I noticed was that when emails are sent in html, I got 2 files in the repository: one in plain text and the other in html format. There would also be 1 extra file per attachment.
And for some mails the content would display like this:

Wouldn't there be a way to:
- create 1 object per received email, which could even be a new space containing all attachments, if there is no other solution
- render all mails in a human readable format

What exactly is the purpose of this project? I installed it but didn't notice any difference. Maybe this is already included in Alfresco 3?

Hi,

we are also interested in this function.

We noticed the same behaviour and we have one more issue.
When an email is sent with attachment, only the plain text file and attachement appear into the repository. Html file is not generated. Is that normal behaviour or problem in our configuration?

I want to store my mail (myuser@gmail.com) in a space into alfresco…
Can you tell me how you have configured the custom-email.server.properties?
